Herman Schulz's history starts during the mid 80', when a group of friends got a ground-floor apartment and made a member-club out of it,where they made art,music,films and food.
As the years passed by,most of the group's members left Berlin and the apartment stood empty.
in 2012 the apartment got rented again by two ambitious creative Berliners and re-opened as a cafe' with a member-club atmosphere in which no one is a stranger and anyone can be a member..even if it is only for 10 minutes,one night,a week or months..
In Herman Schulz we offer a range of cakes along many sorts of coffee that can not be found anywhere else..
All our cakes are being backed at our open kitchen,in which we bake with love and creativity.
We also have a heart for Vegan baking and do our best to bake lactose-free and Gluten-free cakes!
