Fresh Island Festival 2020

The European scene was saturated with Electronic Dance Music (EDM) events, so the Fresh team put together their combined experience in the music business and, using their industry connections and passion for hip-hop, created the hip-hop and R&B festival called Fresh Island Festival. The team behind Fresh Island, identified the gap and delivered Europe’s first hip hop boutique festival experience.

From the very beginning, Fresh Island has hosted some of the world’s biggest music stars. All the way from NAS in the first festival year, Snoop Dogg in 2013 to French Montana, Chris Brown, ASAP Rocky, Sean Paul, Kehlani to Stefflon Don & Burna Boy in 2019.

Billed as Europe’s leading urban music festival, this year’s event will be held from 4-9 July 2020 and mark Fresh Island’s 9th year of “hip-hop hedonism”. Fresh Island – staying true to its mission statement of catering to every “urban music need” – lit up what, for many, would have been the first week of summer, with a truly glittering array of R&B, hip-hop & afrobeats. Should a few more festivals replicate the success of Fresh Island, this summer might yet prove to be as memorable as the taste of Pag’s famous cheese.
