Line up great, organisation terrible!
The food options were also very poor.
Reasonable bar prices. Annoyed that I spent £6 on a parking ticket that I never had to show, my friends parked next to me for free.
Shambolic timings, website said 1pm start time, Facebook said 12noon. Luckily it started late and we didn't miss the ed Sheeran tribute, which was the main reason we wanted to go.

I enjoyed our day at Yorfest 2017 although I think the organisers are selling themselves short. There was no signage to indicate the event was happening and even when we were getting dropped off outside the nearest road gate ~ 50 metres to entrance tent we were beginning to think we had the wrong day.
Talking to one of the food sellers the festival is quite young and is growing year by year. I think it would benefit from better advertising and a more cohesive group of bands on the main stage, and care to be taken that the other stages are not conflicting with the sound from the main one.
The music overall was good however other than the guy from Cast and Dreadzone the main stage line up was far less energetic than the local bands on the smaller stages who were generally fantastic, and provided lots of opportunities to dance. For us at least it felt like the Headliners were on at tea time with a sudden drop in energy to guy-with-a-guitar Badly Drawn Boy.
Comedy tent was an interesting addition that I haven't seen before and we enjoyed a the couple of performers that we saw- however I think it should have been clearer that Jason Manford was not performing- I thought he was and that that was why the shows were being charged separately. I think it would have felt better if the comedy was included rather than having a bizarre you can sit and you can't policy at the tent.
Facilities on site were almost perfect- a hand sanitiser on the exit of the male urinal compound would have been welcome.

To be listed as a family event and have no family entertainment, whilst we appreciate it was a late let down, it couldn't be classed as a family event. We ended up leaving early and missed your main attraction; the shires. I feel thoroughly let down and we hope you see your way to a significant rebate.

The comedy became blue in language at 3pm meaning we couldn't take the boys in there. We therefore left. It'll take a lot for us to return
