About York Dungeon - Anytime Entry
York Dungeon - Anytime Entry at York Dungeon takes you through 2,000 years of York’s darker history. The experience uses live actors, immersive sets and special effects to bring the city’s past to life, with scenes featuring Vikings, their Saxon enemies, Guy Fawkes and local witch Isabella Billington.
The attraction also explores the black plague and a torture chamber, with the history presented in a way that is designed to be seen, heard and smelt as you move through the experience.
Key facts: Anytime entry ticket for York Dungeon. The experience features live actors, immersive sets and special effects. Younger visitors must be aged 5 or over, and it is not recommended for under 8s.
