Ashton under Hill Foraging Courses with wild food uk

Ashton under Hill is a picturesque village situated at the foot of Bredon Hill, with idyllic views in all directions. It is surprisingly plentiful in a range of different plants and mushrooms throughout the year.
We will meet at the Star Inn where the course starts with a short introduction on what to look for and a brief of the general countryside codes.
Then we’ll set off on a roughly 2.5 hour walk around the village, teaching you how to identify the different edible and poisonous plants and mushrooms we find.
We'll stop along the way for some homemade refreshments such as our lovely wild garlic & hogweed soup.
Then it’s back to the pub for a wild food lunch based on what we have found and some pre-prepared homemade treats.
After the course, we will email you a list of everything we talk about on the day to help you to remember what you have learnt.
