We are lucky to two massive figures for our excursion into the deeper side of house. IMS welcomes Jimpster and Shur-i-kan to our hollowed booth.
Jamie Odell wears many hats and wears them well. He's one of the most revered house producers/DJs on the scene and his labels Freerange and Delusions Of Grandeur continue to help break incredible new music which he brings to his DJ sets across the globe.
With Jimpster still doing the business at globally renowned hotspots like Output (New York), Womb (Tokyo), Djoon (Paris) and Watergate (Berlin), a slew of new music on the way, the ideas flowing freely from his studio and with over two decades of experience to draw on you can see clearly that this guy is fire!
Shur-i-kan is a highly respected deep house producer / DJ also on the world renowned Freerange Records and also co-owner of Dark Energy Recordings.Representing the deeper side of house, Tom's acclaimed productions are consistently in heavy demand having remixed the likes of Akabu, Trackheadz, Miguel Migs, Robert Babicz, Fred Everything amongst others. Ever difficult to pigeon hole Shur-i-kan's productions can also be found on top labels such as Simple, NRK and Winding Road. He is also well known for his numerous collaborations with Glasgow house kingpin Milton Jackson and their label Dark Energy has released artists such as Ian Pooley, M.A.N.I.K. and Tom Middleton.
