Another Wazza Halloween monster mash is upon ye! The terrible to behold machine shall be fired up once again! The Jolly Roger raised! The broomsticks mounted!
This year, it is said that a troublesome troll has been in cahoots with some very dark sorcerers indeed, who, in return for all the shiny gems his greedy little heart desires, has been turning our fellow creatures of the night into mindless zombies to carry out his bidding! He aims to tear us away from our position as part of a thriving realm of wonderful werewolves, venerable vampires, magnificent monsters and an honourable host of gorgons, goblins and ghosts galore to shrink us all down with the sorcerers' magic into a little box at the mercy of whatever other troll will give the most gems for it!
How can we continue to be so frightening if we are but fairies in a little box! Living anywhere but the box will be so difficult as we will no longer have the right to haunt anywhere as we please! And how can we rely on this greedy little troll to look after us when he could have so many shiny gems in return for selling the healers away? What if we fall off a broom? What if we get another nasty case of tentacle tongue?
We say NO! ... This is not creaking cricket! ... This makes us very angry indeed, and so this year we'll be dedicating our annual Halloween to a scary time, cursing this troll and his sorcerer masters with a night of PUNK ROCK on the evening of 'deadline day', as well as celebrating what is to be European, to be together. This place is a laughing stock the world over, but we don't want this madness!!
Join us in our hexing (and saying a big F*** O**!!!! To) this nightmare with our VERY special guests... a real treat for the occasion:
Blistering punk rock legends playing their only Northern date right off the back of their BRAND NEW record 'Uprising' out October 26th.
Full throttle dance machine guaranteed to get your knees up with their trumpet-driven ska and nailsy sing-along punk rock anthems.
Tim Loud & The Terrorpins:
The anti-folk country punk rock 'saucy f***er' (Steve Ignorrant - Crass), but with a full barnstormin' band behind him.
And... last but not least... your hosts for the evening...
Warrington's own phantasmagorical curio punk rock band with a horror-wrapped blend of ska and other strange happenings.
Special Halloween drag performances will be performed by the fabulous Jacques Elle-Sean.
*DOORS AT 19:30. FIRST BAND ON AT 20:00 SHARP*
REMEMBER this is still Halloween, so if you are not a real witch, or goblin, or spirit of some vague description, then we highly recommend you wear a costume, for if you don't, the real vampires and werewolves who will be in attendance will have you for dinner when they realize you are just a boring human. Do not wear a costume AT YOUR OWN PERIL.
*BONUS POINTS FOR INCORPORATING THE EU / EUROPE INTO YOUR COSTUME*
