Art for Arts Sake will showcase the sheer breadth, variety and passion of these groups that bring so much to our district and also play an integral part in the programming of the Prince of Wales Theatre. The theatre has been at the heart of our community and the important part that the music and dramatic groups play very much enforces that.

Six of the groups who perform here regularly are on this bill including Cannock Chase Drama Society, Brownhills Musical Theatre Company, Tower Players, Cannock Wood and Gentleshaw Music Society, Aldridge Musical Comedy Society, Backstreet Theatre Company and Split Mask Theatre Company. You can expect songs from the shows amongst other musical delights and comedy drama.

All of the groups involved are members of Cannock Chas Arts Council who are an umbrella organisation for arts groups who practice and perform activity ranging from drama to photography.

All proceeds from this concert will go to Cannock Chase Arts Council.
