A lot of the rides werenât operating and half the rides charge even though you pay for a wrist band . 

Review of Birstall Funfair Mega Funpark

Wouldnât recommend if you have children under a certain height, but big enough to want to go in the rides as theyâve recently changed their insurance (apparently) so adults have to go on with them and itâll only cost you another Â£10 (plus the additional Â£2 you spend to âwatchâ) Feel like it was a bit of a con, some rides that said smaller kids would would want to go on weâre not part of the wrist band price. 
The lady at the ticket desk that gave out the wrist bands was very very lovely. 

Staff was very friendly, lovely attractions, 10/10 would go again if they come back to birstall. 

False advertising, hardly anything there! However did win a fluffy cat

We visited this fair on a weekend and it was great as my 5 year old was able to ride everything as many times as he wanted excluding the trampoline/prize games...I liked how you can pay on entry and and that's it they can go on pretty much everything. However on our visit during the summer holidays I felt it was a little bit more money grabbing as they suddenly had height restrictions on rides he'd previously (within weeks) been fine to ride on suddenly he needed to be accompanied by a paying adult 🙄 I also felt that the food prices were extremely steep and the food wasn't great. We also went to the 12 -3 slot and were queuing before 12 but didn't get in until around 12:20 as there was no one doing tickets until after 12 so we essentially didn't get the time spa.n we'd paid for. It also finishes at 2:30 not 3 BUT if you're paying for a ride you can ride till 3 🙄 
 It's a shame as it was much better value and more enjoyable for our 5 year old on our first visit during a weekend as he could ride more than just the the baby/toddler rides.

I went as a none rider but my daughter and her friend love it and they are looking forward to the next one,The rides looked great and the the staff that are on the rides and the food areas are really friendly and you can really tell they enjoy what they do.

Very nice fair. Large plot so it didn't feel too crowded. Loved the fact that you pay an entrance fee and can go on as many rides as you like afterwards, much better than having to pay for each of them individually.  Just bungee was extra that's the only complaint. Will return next time.
