Music Support Perfect Fifth: Franksy & friends

Celebrate five years of Music Support with Co-Founder, Trustee and multi-award-winning Tour Manager, Andy Franks and industry friends Manfred Frank and Steven Chapman as they share highlights of their favourite shows, touring with everyone from Robbie Williams and Roger Waters to Morrissey and the Stone Roses. We look forward to hearing their stories of life on the road with some of the world's biggest music stars.

ANDY FRANKS - Tour Manager, Co-Founder & Trustee, Music Support - Franksy has been tour managing for over 30 years for the likes of Depeche Mode, Madness, Coldplay, Robbie Williams, The Rolling Stones, The Stone Roses and many more. In recent years he has been running Artist Liaison at Hyde Park for BST festival welcoming everyone from Bon Jovi to Blur, Tom Jones to The Who.

MANFRED FRANK - Artist Ground Transport Coordinator - after having worked at summer camps in the US and as security at concerts in Munich, in 1987, German native Manfred was invited by Global promoter Marcel Avram (whose clients included Michael Jackson, Pink Floyd and Tina Turner) to drive artists/bands on his tour with Liza Minnelli. This then lead to further tours with the likes of Rod Stewart and Prince. In 2000, he established 'Stars & Cars,' a ground transportation service that has serviced over 100 tours in more than 200 cities across Europe. We look forward to hearing his tales from the tour bus! STEVEN CHAPMAN - Tour Manager, SGCTM Limited: Global Tour Management - having trained as a Bricklayer, Steven was offered a doorway into live music in March 1983, working as a drum roadie with Spear of Destiny, a rising English band, and so saw endless tours throughout the 80's, guided by youth, wit and an instinct for getting the job done, no matter what! His touring career now spans four decades hitting arena and stadium shows with some of the biggest names in music including The Stones Roses, Richard Hawley, Royal Blood and the Artic Monkeys.
