Fright (Day and) Night - Stay Awake for 24 hours to help end hom on Saturday 30th October 2021
This Halloween, dust off the cobwebs and try to survive the night for Crisis’ 24-hour spooky Stay Awake party, all to raise vital funds to help end homelessness.
Stay Awake, a 24-hour challenge from national homelessness charity Crisis, will see people across Great Britain going without their usual eight hours a night, and doing what they can to Stay Awake morning, noon and night at the spookiest time of year.
Crisis will be on hand to help participants have a very Happy Howl-o-ween and hosting ghoulish online activities and sessions to keep them going throughout the 24 hours, including arts and crafts activities, recipes from our café team and curated playlists, movies and books.
By Staying Awake, participants will be helping to raise vital funds for a critical issue up and down the country.
Currently, on any given night, tens of thousands of families and individuals are experiencing the worst forms of homelessness across Great Britain, this includes over 200,000 households in England alone. Without the safety or comfort of a home, many people struggle to get a good night’s sleep, and this can really take its toll on mental and physical health. This is why Crisis won’t rest until homelessness is history.
Whether you want to get your creep on with a challenge, out-fright your friends with a freaky fashion competition, or fancy summoning up some sweet treats, all funds raised will help provide vital support for people currently experiencing or at risk of homelessness this Halloween.
Join Crisis as we Stay Awake for 24 hours. Together, we will end homelessness.
