The Music of Thelonious Monk - Jazz on the Plaza

Join us for the next Jazz on the Plaza at the beautiful and intimate Café Yukari in Kew Gardens, perfectly situated on the station’s plaza, on Sunday, 30th November at 7.30 pm. This month, we welcome back two outstanding musicians who have graced Mood Indigo Events' stages before: the expressive tenor saxophonist Jac Jones, last seen paying heartfelt tribute to the late Matt Dibble, and the superb double bassist Ryan Trebilcock, who impressed audiences performing with Gareth Lockrane at Riverside Arts Jazz. They’ll be joined by resident pianist Terence Collie at the café’s stunning Fazioli grand for a special evening of music written by or associated with the great Thelonious Monk — all in Café Yukari’s warm and cosy setting.
