Black Deer Festival of Americana & Country on Friday 19th - Sunday 21st June 2020

Black Deer is on a mission to bring the real Americana & Country music, and way of life, to the UK. Expressed through a unique festival that creates authentic good times with a family friendly vibe.

This annual festival will feature 70 plus performances over 6 stages across 3 days set within the spectacular natural outdoor location of Eridge Park, one of the UK’s oldest and largest Deer parks, just 50 minutes from London.

The sounds at Black Deer will pull from the worlds of Country, Folk, Bluegrass, Outlaw, Swamp Rock and the Blues. Simply, Black Deer is where new and established roots-inspired artists tell their stories be it around the campfire or from one of our many stages. Showing you what Americana & Country truly is, where it came from, and where it’s heading.

Expect also to be transported to the Smokehouses of America’s Deep South with our Live Fire Arena. Where cooking homegrown, wholesome food ‘slow & low’ in custom made smokers, is always the order of the day. Craft beers, artisan ales, great coffee and amazing whisky ensures the drink at Black Deer is shown the same level of respect as the food. The first Black Deer Cookout competition will see four teams compete against one another in a series of contests hosted and judged by professional pit-master and restauranteur Dr.BBQ. All blended together by Jon Finch and Ben Merrington, the original pioneers of the American BBQ scene in the UK.

Experience the counter-culture of custom-built motorbikes and Black Deer X Bolt Motorcycles London exclusive merchandise at The Roadhouse. Spend time at Black Deer Mercantile, a special marketplace where artisan wares and championing the culture of making stand out. And discover Black Deer’s festival within a festival – one in which kids take centre stage, by being given endless opportunities to explore, whether through music, craft, or the great outdoors with the likes of Woodland Tribe and Freckles and Fire.

Join us on this special journey into the world of Americana & Country, and immerse yourself in the community, music, food and storytelling of a culture like no other.
