The National Festival of Running is an exciting new festival and the first of its kind, offering three days of running-related fun in the summer of 2019 at the beautiful venue of Weston Park, Shropshire.
Aimed at runners of all ages and levels, the Festival comprises 4 UKA-approved races, classes, live music, running stories, meet ups, a shopping village, camping and much more. It is set to be an inspiring three days for adults, children, families, groups of friends and running clubs who will be able to gather for an entire weekend to celebrate the sport they love. There is something for everyone, from runners just starting out through to serious runners, all of whom can take on the different races, learn techniques for improvement and socialise with like-minded people.
Presenters for the weekend will be endurance runner Susie Chan and 400m champion Iwan Thomas MBE. Headlining the music stage will be top DJ Jo Whiley, alongside a superb line-up of talent to keep festival-goers entertained over the three days. Runners can take part in as little or as much running activity as they like, whilst non-running friends and family can sit back in the summer sunshine and soak up the amazing atmosphere.
Entry to all four races is included in the weekend ticket and runners will receive a beautiful bespoke medal for every race they complete.
