Transcending my story on Sunday 27th May 2018
We all have a story – from the moment we are born we interact with life, encountering a multitude of people, situations, influences and environments. It is said that all these experiences make us who we are today but do they? Are we simply the sum of our past experiences? This is an opportunity to discuss the nature of the self – examine the ‘stories’ we tell in our minds and explore the possibility of rising above the influence of negative experiences
Facilitators: Carol Evans is a retired University Counsellor who also worked as a psychotherapist in private practice for 20 years and has been a student with the Brahma Kumaris for the last 25 years. Fiona Ryder, who will be co-facilitating the workshop is also a long-time student with the Brahma Kumaris and is happy to share her experience of transcending her ‘story’
