Review of Big Family Festival
Had a fantastic day with the whole family. This event is awesome and caters perfectly for younger children with a variety of activities that keep them entertained and engaged for the whole time.
Although this year we only visited for the one day we have already decided next year we will be attending for the whole weekend, and we can't wait.
On the whole everything was priced reasonably, in comparison to other festival events attended, with one exception, the fair ground rides, these prices were a little inflated for the quality of what was on offer.

wasn't as well organised as last year no provision for rain - no big tent as last year, toilets were full on first day in general fewer toilets than last year. Food overpriced, Caribbean food was delicious. Main stage was better placed last year. fewer activities than last year. Young driver activity excellent.

unable to get on to any of the kids activities
only one showing of film on big screen and its too late for the children.
disappointing.

I didn't hear a lot of music but the line up sounded okay. In fact all that was advertised sounded okay. However, things that were advertised were not delivered.( all work shops booked up, driving school for 5+) There was not enough cover for rain or extreme heat. The layout was like a school fair, everything around the edge of a field, not at all like a festival! I paid £50 for 4 day tickets and hardly engaged in any activities that were included in that price. Overall disappointing, glad I only had a day ticket as there was not enough to do for a whole weekend, definitely not value for money in my experience.

I thought the tickets were very over priced for what was available. There was an argument between the slime stall and an organiser , the driving car school disappear ( they did come back!) apparently slot of food stalls / vans did not arrive on the Sunday either. The bmx people were not there either! No where did it state you had to book activities ( luckily we got onto them because it was a washout on the Sunday) not worth the money I paid for the tickets! 😞
