The Town Walk is a lovely way to discover Stratford and its fascinating relationship with William Shakespeare, and it goes ahead 365 days a year! Winner of a Pride of Stratford Award for Tourism Initiative of the Year, Theo Paphitis SBS Award and more.
See Shakespeare's Birthplace, New Place, Hall's Croft, Harvard House, the Royal Shakespeare Theatres, River Avon, 15th century timber-framed buildings, Guild Chapel (free entry), Shakespeare's School and visit Holy Trinity Church to see Shakespeare's grave with blessing/curse (subject to a small fee to the Church to see Shakespeare's grave).
Hear fascinating stories of fire, flood, plague, old-fashioned sayings, medieval cures and history, wrapped up in a little Shakespeare. No need to book (unless a group of 10+), meet on Waterside by the swan fountain, opposite the fish & chip shop on the corner of Sheep Street and pay the guide on arrival.
