Discover Stratford's history and fascinating relationship with William Shakespeare, every Wednesday.

Multi, award-winning, guided walking tour in Stratford upon Avon every WEDNESDAY, whatever the weather! ‘It’s like walking through the pages of history’ - A 'must do' The Town Walk is a lovely way to discover Stratford and its fascinating relationship with William Shakespeare. Winner of a Pride of Stratford Award, Theo Paphitis SBS Award and more. See Shakespeare's Birthplace, New Place, Hall's Croft, Harvard House, the Royal Shakespeare Theatres, River Avon, 15th century timber-framed buildings, Guild Chapel (free entry), Shakespeare's School and visit Holy Trinity Church to see Shakespeare's grave with blessing/curse (subject to a small fee to the Church). Hear fascinating stories of fire, flood, plague, old-fashioned sayings, medieval cures and history, wrapped up in a little Shakespeare. No need to book (unless a group of 10+), meet on Waterside by the swan fountain, opposite the fish & chip shop on the corner of Sheep Street and pay the guide on arrival. Every Wednesday at 11am. Arrive a little before the start time and look out for the guide wearing something yellow. For other times, days and prices see website - www.stratfordtownwalk.co.uk. Wheelchair friendly. Dogs are welcome. Ticket includes great discounts at selected shops, restaurants, pubs and attractions. For example, Butterfly Farm, MAD museum, 2FOR1 entry to Shakespeare's School and 20% off entry to Shakespeare's Birthplace or the Full Story ticket.
