Discover Stratford and its fascinating relationship with William Shakespeare. See Shakespeare's Birthplace, New Place, Hall's Croft, Harvard House, the Royal Shakespeare Theatres, River Avon, 15th century timber-framed buildings, Guild Chapel (free entry), Shakespeare's School and visit Holy Trinity Church to see Shakespeare's grave (small fee to the Church to see Shakespeare's grave - with blessing/curse!). Hear fascinating stories of fire, flood, plague, old-fashioned sayings, medieval cures and history, wrapped up in a little Shakespeare. No need to book (unless a group of 10+), meet on Waterside by the swan fountain, opposite the fish & chip shop on the corner of Sheep Street and pay the guide on arrival. The guide usually wears something yellow (hat, scarf, tie).
