Back In The Day Presents Golden Classics - 2024 Launch Party!

We're kicking off 2024 in style! Putting together a line up for only 200 people of epic proportions!

We here at Back In The Day have a huge love and respect for all of Stoke On Trent's real & underground dance events and love to celebrate the sounds of years gone by with the original artists & DJ's at our disposal. We're kicking off 2024 by giving you a night of true Golden Classics <3

Allister Whitehead was the very first guest DJ to play at Golden, and for many, represents the true house sound of the midlands during the 90's. Guesting at pretty much every major club across the land, ranging from The Hacienda & Cream to Gatecrasher & Ministry of Sound. If anyone knows the early Golden classics, Allister certainly does!

Brandon Block was a regular guest at Golden throughout its duration and never failed to disappoint! If anyone brings the party its Brandon! There were so many Superclub mix  CD's that became a staple part of everyones journey and Brandon was behind so many of them! If he wasn't in the studio knocking tracks out as The Blockster or telling the Rolling Stones to jog on at The Brits, he was spinning in every major club around, not to mention the huge impact he had in Ibiza where his legend still lives to this day!

Obviously we couldn't miss out Mr Golden himself, Pete Bromley! So much has already been said about Pete and his presence at Golden, so we'll keep  it short. For most, he was, and still is the spirit of Golden. Playing the very first record at Golden to playing the very last one, Pete is the gatekeeper of House music in Stoke on Trent!

Support on the night comes from Mikey Worth & Bob's Disco. 2 guys synonymous with Stoke's dance scene. Mikey is one of the city's most well loved characters and Bob was one of the original faces at Golden, both front & back of house. Gets where water can't get that bloke does! :p

A huge night for The Underground! 2024 is going to be a big one thats for sure!
