Care home to be lit up for Remembrance event on Sunday 11th November 2018

A HC-One care home in Heaton Moor will be lit up with falling poppies this Sunday when it hosts a Remembrance event to mark the centenary of the end of the First World War.

The team at Newlands Care Home, which is situated on Heaton Moor Road, is inviting the local community to join them for the special event.

On the evening, people will be able to take part in a short Remembrance service, listen to memories from residents of the Second World War and enjoy a sketch by local University of the Third Age Group.

The event, which will be held at HC-One’s Newlands Care Home on Heaton Moor Road, will take place on Sunday, November 11 from 4:30pm – 6:30pm.

Situated within Newlands, the Beeches Suite opened in August and offers luxurious hotel style accommodation throughout, including premier and deluxe premier rooms.
