Jon DaSilva is one of the original Hacienda resident DJs and a true pioneer in the UK House Music scene. His career has spanned over three decades beginning in what many consider to be the most important and influential club of its generation, FAC 51 The Haçienda. Jon continues with his residency for the I Love Acid club night, which won the Best Club Event in DJ Magazine’s “Best Of British Awards” 2019. Few of today’s DJs can boast a pedigree like Jon Dasilva, who was also recently voted #25 in Iconic Magazine reader’s poll of All Time Top 50 DJs.
A mercurial producer, he has had a string of cutting edge productions to his name with releases on labels including Ellum Audio, Rush Hour, Soma, Mute, Last Night On Earth, Sprechen and many more.
' I started remixing in 1989, with what is considered by many to be a timeless classic, Big (Baka) by The New Fast Automatic Daffodils and have, over the 30 years, remixed for many great labels and artists. My remix of Colourblind, You’re Gonna Make Me Love Somebody Else, became the basis for the collaboration with Maceo Plex which went on to win the Best House/Garage Track at the 28th Annual International Dance Music Awards, 2013. I’ve remixed a number of bands over the years, clients like New Order, A Certain Ratio, Inspiral Carpets, Sub Sub, so don’t be shy if you have a band project, I’m excited to work in most genres'. - Jon Dasilva.
DJ & Producer B-Long (Saytek Live, Jamie Jones, Freakin909). A well known selector on London's underground scene. Making his debut in the North for the first time, to coincide with the release of his latest remix of Guz's Better Days.
