DANCE - LOCAL with DJ Lil' Fee & Julie Wills b2b hosted by MC Kwasi. Expect Soulful House, Funk & Disco with a sprinkle of acid bangers.

THE DANCE PROJECT is a new suburban club night, music lovers & ravers rejoice we are bringing the party to you. Prepare to go on a musical journey for our launch party with DJs Lil' Fee & Julie Wills b2b, hosted MC Kwasi aka the Smile Factory, possibly most famous as Mr Scruff's mic man.

As part of our launch we are collaborating with Square West and Cask & Kitchen, Glossop from 7pm. Glossop's favourite bars have put together a carefully curated themed menu of pre drinks and food. Come and grab a delicious burger, shots, beers, wine or cocktails, and get yourselves rave ready for a night of dancing. Pre-drinks start at 7pm at Square West, then the party continues from 9pm at Crystal Ballroom, Glossop.

Special shooters to get you buzzin'.

The Drop - whisky, amaretto, cranberry

Traffic Lights - three glasses coloured red, orange, green

Raving Monster cocktail - midori, lemon, soda and mountain dew

Food designed by Cask & Kitchen (served at Square West).

PLUR Burger - beef or vegan patty, smoked cheese, bacon, onions rings and our secret Kandi sauce all in a toasted brioche bun.

MC Kwasi will be on the mic from 8pm at Square West helping the vibes along until 9pm, when the doors open at the Crystal Ballroom Glossop for the big dance event.

DJ's & Host Info -

DJ Lil’ Fee has enjoyed an international music career as the drummer in slick, dance-rock outfit, The Whip . Fee's DJ sets are something else, finely crafted & full of energy for your dancefloor stomp.

Julie Wills is part of the Disco Mums collective, Julie can be found DJin across Manchester plus a monthly show on Reform Radio called Out Since Last Friday. Highlights include; Homoelectric, Red Laser Disco, Back to Basics, MIF and Electric Elephant in Croatia, she's also a regular at Suffragette City.

MC Kwasi (Mr Scruff, Friends and Family, AIM) aka the Smile Factory possibly most famous as Mr Scruff's mic man. Manchester legend Kwasi has been featured on tracks with the likes of Suns Of Arqa, The Messengers, Rae and Christian, DJ Vadim and Beatphreak. Kwasi is also credited with writing material in his other guises of Rasta Rock and King
