Following the rapid sell-out of our first two weeks, we’re thrilled to announce another chance to join the fun! This time on Saturday 31st August 2024
We've been absolutely swamped with messages from the more 'seasoned' party-goers who love Fubar but aren't keen on dancing with their bairns or grandweans. So, we're chucking the nighttime hassle to the wind and embracing a dance in the daylight.
No need to fret over finding a sitter, battling for a taxi at witching hour, or missing out on your beauty sleep (not that you need it—you look fabulous). Instead of dancing till the wee hours, we're turning the afternoon into our dance floor. This shindig is specially brewed for those of us with a bit more tartan in our tweeds. Not everyone’s cuppa tea is to mingle with the young team, so we've set up an afternoon just for the original Fubar crowd.
Date - Saturday, 31st August
Time - 3 PM to 8 PM
Get ready for a reel of party classics and those tunes you thought you'd forgotten, ready to jog your memory and maybe your dancing shoes too. Just like the good old days, only now you might grunt a bit more when you bend down. A wee polite reminder to our guests:
- If you're under 30, you might be a tad too young for this dance.
- Keep the snogging to a minimum on the dance floor (unless it’s during the slow numbers, then it’s fair game).
- No pushing, running, or doing the belly flop.
- Leave the somersaults and cartwheels to the gymnasts (though we’re all for spirited dancing, especially if it involves a bit of the Highland fling).
So, dust off your dancing shoes and join us for an afternoon where the laughs are as plentiful as the drinks, and the only thing getting 'legless' will be the dancing (we hope).
