Award winning comedy character Hospital DJ Ivan Brackenbury returns to The Southport Comedy Festival with his new show

‘Ivan Brackenbury’s 10 Year Anniversary Party With Tom Binns, Ian D Montford and Friends’

One year late, because he got the maths wrong, Ivan celebrates 11 years actually on the road with guest appearances from other creations of Tom Binns, who have recently featured in BBC One's mockumentary Hospital People.

Tom Binns is the star and co-writer of the BBC 1 Friday Night Comedy Show Hospital People.

He is also an award-winning and critical acclaimed character comedian working the International Comedy Festivals and the UK Stand Up Comedy Circuit. He's arguably earned more five-star reviews than any other comedian.

He's been nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award, MySpace Comedy Award and Perth Fringe Comedy Award (twice).

He's a 'Fosters Comedy God', he's won Best International Act at the New Zealand International Comedy Festival, Adelaide Fringe (twice), Nottingham Comedy Festival and 3 Sony Gold Awards. He's also Midlands Comedian of the year. (UK)

He's been in BBC Shows Alan Partridge, Lee and Herring, Friday/Saturday Night Armistice and Channel 4 shows IT Crowd and Drifters and the film Going to Mecca.
