Following sell out shows Tom Binns, creator and star of BBC One’s Hospital People and 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown favourite, returns to the Southport Comedy Festival with his alter egos to include Ivan Brackenbury and spoof psychic act Chris Thomas.

Tom is a multi-award winning and nominated international character comic. His shows have been described as 'comedy genius' by The Times, Telegraph. Scotsman and Time Out.'

Amongst his multiple nominations and awards, Tom has received a Fosters Comedy God, Best International Comedian, Best International Act at the New Zealand International Comedy Festival, Adelaide Fringe (twice), Nottingham International Comedy Festival and 3 Sony Gold Awards.

He's been in BBC Shows Alan Partridge, Lee and Herring, Friday/Saturday Night Armistice and Channel 4 shows IT Crowd Drifters and Eight out of Ten Cats do Countdown and the feature films Going to Mecca and most recently Eaten by Lions.
