Return to the glory days of jazz funk and soul with real dance music legends as The GRT Music Group present a soulsational evening of non-stop, live dancefloor anthems including You to Me Are Everything, Hangin’ On A String and Night Birds.
The Real Thing’s original frontmen, Chris Amoo and Dave Smith, revive the glory days of the 70s and 80s performing Can’t Get By Without You, You’ll Never Know What You’re Missing, Whenever You Want My Love, Children of the Ghetto and Can You Feel the Force.
One of the top British dance and urban contemporary trios in the early ‘80s, Loose Ends formed in London. Their debut was written by Chris and Eddie Amoo of The Real Thing. Their single Hanging on a String (Contemplating) topped the R&B charts in 1985, and they repeated that achievement in 1986 with Slow Down and in 1988, Watching You reached number two.
Completing the line-up is British crossover soul, jazz, funk, and pop outfit, Shakatak. Formed in London in 1980, Shakatak are a sophisticated ensemble who have enjoyed a long career, with a sound steeped in contemporary soul, jazz and R&B. They enjoyed massive UK chart successes, featuring both instrumental and vocal productions, including Night Birds, Down On The Street and Easier Said Than Done.
