Excellent Martyn always makes The Brook Rock!
I have visited The Brook of several ocassions to see Martyn Joseph. It is always a relaxed venue. Martyn states it's one of his favourite concerts. The seating is informal and a great unobstructed view of the stage. I watched from the ground floor in a high stall.
I had a fantastic evening- and will certainly return when Martyn comes back. Thank you

Review of Dead Freights + Elixir + Shy Boy

Discovered a really exciting band in Elixir! Some interesting musical pauses and different rhythms, a great vocalist supported by excellent musicians ... one to watch. Shy Boy were reminiscent of The Beatles/Beachboys with an Indie slant. Again a good vocalist and all round good band. Dead Freights were a mix of ska/rock/funk and rounded off the evening nicely. The Brook is Southampton's best music venue.
