good job the sit was well situated close to the shops because food was cold the beer was warm and expensive for what you got. very good riding around the coast. we plan to return this year after we found some where to camp.

Nick and Caroline as enthusiastic as ever increased the capacity and the entertainment for this years Mach event. Good points were many. Excellent food from Carolines kitchen on site. Music was a mixture of utterly terrible to foot stomping encore inducing Leeds City Stompers. Top lads. Gents posh loo blocks ran out of water... bikers mid shave were very unhappy and rightly so. Took too long for fresh tank to be piped in. Total lack of security. Anyone was free to wander into the site. To sum up... fun event with great atmosphere but lacked serious organisation. It requires a site manager. Who won the trail quest?? why was the notice board not used? why did soft drinks at the bar cost as much as the beer? We do not all drink beer... Acts required an announcement of who they were... not just background crash bang whallop, next! But overall, as event to meet friends and organise own rides to our favourite places and return for tastey food with a variety of musical enternainment it was good. Showers seemed to be closed for many bikers..... perhaps times up on the board would be useful.... Great Idea Nick and the team... just needs more management and thought.... not one week before the event either... just saying. Has potential to be wonderful with a bit of thought.

Brilliant venue, great people. Entertainment wasn't 100% to my taste but there again it catered for everyone and it was at least enjoyable.

Please, please, please contact me when Mach 3 happens because I only found about Mach 2 last minute! Done 1, done 2 and definitely down for the 3'rd installment

Beautiful location, Machynlleth fantastic, great camping field but £65 for a four day event that doesn't even have showers?? No stalls, nothing organised, no information, warm beer, no programme, no one even on the gate we had to wait with groups of others to see anyone involved. So £65 to pitch a tent in a field with some bands that I couldn't find out the line up unless I bought a t-shirt, didn't impress, not much motorcycle or festival. We thought it would be a mini adventure, with all sorts of things on display about the organiser and motorcycle trips and hints and maybe things to buy to plan your own. Instead we had four toilet blocks, half with no water and a half mile walk through the town centre to get a shower you had to pay extra for. The only "organised" ride out we missed as it was on Friday, when most people were trying to get there, if there had been better information available on a website we would have tried to get there Thursday night (unable to take Thursday off work). We couldn't find any information about anything else. Food was only available for limited times, luckily you are right next to town but not really the point of a festival? Shame really disappointing, thankfully the amazing surroundings did not disappoint and there were some friendly people but it would have been cheaper to stay at a campsite!

When I bought my tick*t, it was advertised at £65. This was not true as Skiddle put on their fee which took it up to £73 inc. cancellation insurance. Mr Sanders should advertise at that price because this is what I had to pay. Festival was advertised for max 350 people, but turned out to be 500. Food caterers only catered for 250 people and the rest had to scavenge for food in town. Wasn't happy with overall event..too many people, not enough choice of caterers at venue. I met up with 2 other people and we did our own thing every day, every evening and stayed in B&Bs so that's 3 of us who wasted the tick*t price. P.S. when I dropped my bike at home and thought I would not make it to the festival with only one week to fix the bike, I rang Skiddle to ask about cancelling..and they said i would not get my money back unless I could prove via a Doctors note that I was hurt, or a police report on the accident, which I had neither. Be warned everyone. I will not attend this festival again. It was not what I originally signed up for and i feel slightly conned. You should not advertise an event at this price and then change the parameters of the event.

Could have done with more info on notice board, what bands on that day and what time on and more info on runs out. Band line up needs tweeking. Great weekend and good venue being right in town

wasn't sure what to expect, wasn't disappointed, although we had camper it was nice to be part of the experience, lovely people, more females than I thought there would be which was nice, Nick was a good host, really relaxing, thanks, see you again mach 3 :)

Mach 2 was everything i expected. Having been down the usual rally route thought we would try this as it became your own adventure. Yes maybe things could be improved in certain areas, but this is why i have offered to help next year, regards the general setting up of the site, i think Nick, Caroline & Ewan did a fantastic job as not many others were around to help, maybe others could offer help with tick*t checking & notice board information etc.
On the whole i thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Looking forward to MACH 3 next year . Thanks to Nick and the team for a good weekend.

lovely setting, great people, great food , good music,lovely country to ride bikes in. Not so great. lack of water in loos to wash hands 12 hours out of 24, no showers, but some down the road to use. a bit wing it on the day type of organized, but great fun nonetheless. will go back again .N sanders is quirky, but fun. just like the event. PS spread loos around site. long way if you camped by co-op wall.

Overall a good friendly event. Whilst I know the whole point is to be a relaxed event, there was a notice board that never had any thing much on it. This made it difficult to plan your stay around what you wanted to do and see. The events timing could be better. Rather than starting on Thursday (which we missed due to work as did a few others) it could have started on the Friday night and kept everyone engaged more, as a lot of people (including us) had left before the last night. So losing a night would have been probably better in the long run to keep engagement of the guests. Weirdly no one actually ever checked our tick*ts, which again is to give the event a relaxed feel but I wander how many people 'chanced it'.
Despite my grumblings the bands were great and the atmosphere was excellent and met a load of good people and had a laugh.

Fantastic event, great entertainment, great drink and good food - all organized by Nick Sanders who is around all the time making sure everyone is having a great time.
Will be going next year to Mach 3

Rubbish, at no point were we asked for our tick*ts, music and entertainment was shocking! Food prices were crazy! All the alcoholic drinks were warm! The main tent pole fell down! Will never return again!

Being this is only the 2nd event, we went to the Mach 1 as well last year. this year the addition of the food kitchen, and a larger entertainment tent made it even more fun. the Music/entertainment was a mixed bag of everything, so some people will say it was crap others will say it was great. i will listen to almost anything, im just glad there was no Eminem. all in all i think Nick Ewan and team did a good job this year. yes there were some minor hickups but come on the MACH is still a baby that needs love and care to help it grow. there is no use saying OH THE MUSIC WAS CRAP, THE BEER WAS EXPENSIVE, HAVE SOMETHING YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE OR DO THEM BLOODY PUT A SUGGESTION TO THE MACH TEAM, not slate them off behind their backs. after all this is a festival to celebrate all things Bike, and you know what it dont matter what you ride 3 wheels two wheels, honda,kawka,yam,suzi,triumph,harley or even bmw n ktm we all ride because we like it and have the same thing in common adventure on 2-3 wheels, this is supposed to be a weekend to get together to share story's & information, tips about traveling, not a place to show how pig ignorant you are just because someone dose not ride what you ride, sorry but your poop stinks just like the rest of the human race. my little rant out of the way haha i had a great time looking forwards to Mach 3 :)

Walm beer , poor organisation, Dire music , Good job we where close to the town for the pub's , the site was good with clean toilets and shower units ,no one on the gate so we just set up camp and out tick*ts where unnecessary as no one seemed interested to check no stalls or anything of interest other than the marquee and a bar
