Founded in 2013 by Janine Dyer, this vibrant community choir has gone from strength to strength - reaching prominence as one of the country's finest amateur choirs as finalists in the BBC Songs of Praise Gospel Choir of the Year 2016 contest. Before the pandemic, the choir was invited to perform with Take That on the Yorkshire dates of their Greatest Hits tour, sharing the stage with the one and only Lulu, and they continue to be sought-after for collaborations, celebrations and community events across the region.

Janine is noted as one of the finest gospel artists in the UK, with over 30 years experience both as a solo singer and member of the multi-award winning UK Gospel Group ‘Raymond & Co’ (MOBO Awards and two Urban Music Awards, and countless others).
Janine has shared the stage with leading gospel artists from across the globe, including Kirk Franklin and Kim Burrell, and is also well known in the house and garage scene as a lead vocalist, e.g. recent Adelphi Music Factory single 'Uprising' (Radio 1 hottest record in the world)
Janine is constantly in demand to bless all manner of events with her sublime vocal talent - this concert is a unique opportunity to hear Janine and her remarkable choir in full flow at the most wonderful time of the year!

Capacity at this concert is strictly limited and all attendees, adults and children, require a ticket.
Will I be allocated a seat?
No, it is unreserved seating so please arrive in good time to find a seat and get comfortable. Some of the seating is on the upper floor (balcony). Please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions regarding accessibility.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
The Victoria Hall is located on Norfolk Street, in the theatre district of Sheffield city centre. It is accessible via the train, tram and bus network, within short walking distance of the transport interchange and mainline railway station. If you prefer to drive there are numerous car parks in the vicinity, as well as on-street parking in metered bays. Please leave plenty of time for your journey/parking.
