Refugee Rhythms is back! On April 3rd, Sheffield STAR will be hosting a charity gig night at The Foundry. Come and join us to stand in solidarity with migrant communities in Sheffield and enjoy a diverse lineup of music to groove to.
As usual, we’ll be supporting City of Sanctuary’s work to create a safer, more welcoming city for those seeking sanctuary. Funds raised will also go towards mutual aid projects supporting displaced students within our own university.
We are thrilled to present our lineup of talented artists bringing a range of funky sounds to the stage. The one and only Franz Von will be returning to the stage as our headliner, bringing a blend of hip-hop, afro-fusion, and spoken word. Due to popular demand, we’re bringing back Junk's shoegaze-inspired alternative indie, and for the first time, Tradwife will be blessing us with their eclectic post-punk tunes.
We’ll also be hosting a raffle with some exciting prizes! Doors open at 7, and we’ll finish around 10:30 followed by an afterparty in Bar One. We can't wait to see you there for an unforgettable night of music and solidarity!
