Join us at 'The Sensational Slime Machine!' Professor Putty and his assistants will be having a hoot in the holidays with their Sensational Slime Machine. What happens at the event: Participants dress in Lab coats and goggles ready for a 25 minute Slime-tastic activity, as the various ingredients are discovered and found. After this, the slime scientists will join 'The Creation Station Slime Lab' and will get a chance to make their very own slime to take home. With a choice of 8 colours and glitter. Slime School is for ages 4+ All children must be accompanied by an adult. FAQ'S Why is there are charge? The charge of £4 pays for each child to create and take away their very own custom-made slime in a fun and interactive slime workshop hosted by the Creation Station. Children can choose from 8+ colours of slime, glitter and take home a tub of their creation. How long will it be for? The total session will be up to 25 minutes, split between a fun slime lab theatrical introduction and a slime making workshop. Can I leave my children and come and collect them when it’s finished? No, all children must be accompanied by an adult. Is it safe? The event will involve slime making. Creation Station only use items that have been tested to be safe and suitable for children aged four years plus. The recipe used contains the minimum amount of diluted Boron and is under the European Union safety limit of 300mg/kg Do not play with slime for prolonged periods. Always wash your hands immediately after play. And no, don’t eat it! We recommend that slime is disposed of after 7 days for hygiene reasons. My child has allergies, is it ok? The slime recipe involves several ingredients. If you are concerned about allergies please contact us with your specific concerns and we can advise. What are the slime ingredients? Scola PVA glue - vegan (all ingredients are synthetic or of vegetable origin) Scola Artmix paint - vegan (do not include wheat/gluten, peanuts, shellfish, fish, tree nuts, eggs or milk) Bicarbonate of soda (food grade) Bausch & Lomb Sensitive Saline Glitter How do I book? The event is booked through the event page at meadowhall.co.uk/slime Can I book over the phone? All bookings for this event are via the Eventbrite page. Where is it located? The event is located on High Street Knuckle, Lower High Street, Meadowhall. My plans have changed, can I get a refund? Unfortunately we do not accept refunds for this activity. Can I turn up on the day and pay cash? The event must be booked on the Eventbrite page. Places are limited and there is no guarantee that there will be a place available on walk up. If you wish to book a place on the same day, this must still be booked via the Eventbrite booking page. What ages is it suitable for? Slime school is strictly for ages 4 plus. We recommend the activity for up to age 12.
