For the fourth instalment of Dryad Community Sessions we’d like to welcome Abzu Sound System and friends to our Home on the Hill. 🏡

Join us for a celebration of everything roots, dub and reggae, with a range of selectors, each specialising in a different aspect of dub. 

Abzu Sound System are heavyweight dubplate specialists and are rapidly making a name for themselves in the dub scene, at home and abroad. Building radical dubplates for sounds like Iration Steppas, Sinai Sound System and more, Abzu are no strangers to rattling down venues with their custom hand built dub sound system. Alongside guest selectors they aim to shake the foundations of Dryad Works and bring some conscious, real reggae music to your ears.

From France, we welcome Pierre from Dubtrakz Sound System bringing us the latest in European steppers and dub. Outa Manchester we welcome our own Hanamercy bringing feminine vibes to the place. Connordub, local reggae legend, will be supplying us with vinyl roots vibes, all on underground heavyweights: Abzu Sound System 🎧

This series of events focuses on the social and community aspects of life and It's quite simple really:

We provide plenty of seating and comfy spaces for you and yours to relax in our warehouse, pop up beer garden and cosy bar area and you get to enjoy the sun (if its out), food, music & vibes provided by our lovely residents and special guests on rotation 🙌

Let's face it. It costs to live right now. And we miss just being able to meet and sit down with friends old and new, standing in a circle chatting and having a laugh with a few pals, occupying tiny portions of land and tables for you and yours from day through to night. 🕺
