'Steel City Rhythm are a Sheffield based 9 piece playing a unique mix of up-tempo, politically conscious, Dub/Reggae Fusion music. Mixing blazing brass lines and soaring vocals over Hip-Hop beats, heavy Dub breaks and rhythmic Funk grooves, Steel City Rhythm have been storming stages across the UK with their trademark high-octane shows, guaranteed to leave audiences sweaty and satisfied!

Over the last few years, Steel City Rhythm have supported international acts such as Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, UB40, Gentlemen's Dub Club, Toddla T, The Hot 8 Brass Band and Dreadzone to name a few and are fast becoming favourites on the festival circuit, making high profile appearances at Boomtown Fair, The international Ska Festival, One Love, Ynot, Kaya and Tramlines, as well as headlining underground favourites such as the Northern Green Gathering and The Curious Yellow Weekend!

In 2016, SCR released their debut album 'Free Love and Fighting' to critical acclaim, receiving airplay around the world including on BBC1Xtra courtesy of David Rodigan himself! Now working on their eagerly awaited second album, Steel City Rhythm are definately ones to watch in 2017!!'

Da Rico ft Liam Otis Mensah -

Da Rico is a producer and DJ who combines his decks with live instruments to create some groovy musical vibes. Featuring a three piece horn section, Da Rico and friends play through a mixture tunes ranging from jazzy hip hop to funky disco, and are guaranteed get some heads bopping. Led by Patrick McMahon, the group have managed to support names such as The Mouse Outfit, Chali 2na, FaltyDL, Dego and Omar-S at events such as Tramlines Festival and at venues including the O2 Academy and Night Kitchen. Alongside his performers Da Rico contributes live guitar, and his original horn arrangements are played over mixture of his own productions and other people's beats, making for a great mix of sounds. Expect some great vibes!
