HED Promotions returns for a special December lineup at The Ferret featuring a headline set from WYRES!
Wyres // Ahmed & The Romans // Triers // Magnificent Rebels // Horsemeat @ The Ferret, Preston!

Wyres are a melodic punk rock four-piece wth Myspace-era vibes (featuring former members of Preston band "Failsafe"). Formed at the worst time in history to start a band (March 2020), song ideas flew back and forth over WhatsApp during lockdowns - with 24 home-recorded demos emerging. The aim was to capture a sound that's melodic punk at heart while still raw around the edges - in the vein of Hot Water Music, Rise Against, Alkaline Trio, Bayside, and Beatsteaks. They recently released their debut album "Nothing Like Your Idols". Go listen to it... now!

The son of the Egyptian James Brown and three Italians pieced together from the bowels of the old empire. A real treat, a real sonic treat to bite into. They wowed the Ferret back in May 2023 supporting Cut. and they are back again to spread more of their infectious brand of sound.
Four Shropshire lads detonating melodic indie rock bangers. Big verses. Bigger choruses
You may recognise their faces as members of The Jackpot Golden Boys. But this new side project lets them explore their rock sound like never before! This will be the first outing under this name. Not to be missed!

Horsemeat are an aggressive blend of Hardcore, Post-Punk and Alternative Metal, with some progressive elements, which they have dubbed “Prunge” for short.
Advance tickets are £6. (It'll be £8 on the door)
All takes place on Saturday 9th December at the Ferret, Preston. Doors open at 6pm.
