The Purple Hat Mob on Saturday 3rd April 2021

The Purple Hat Mob are an alternative outfit led by 19-year-old writer and singer David and older brother Stu.

Originating from Preston, the band stir up a mix of experimental, electronic and progressive rock to create what RGM describe as ‘a real 80s gothic rock/pop treat.’

They have been seen playing at venues across the country including The Bodega and The Brickyard as well as self producing and releasing a few EPs along the way.

The boys cannot wait to return to the Conti, where they team up with local ambient synth hero, La French and Nottingham DJ crew Peach Fuzz to collectively get things going.

Let’s see what the boys have in store after a year-long hiatus thanks to our least favourite Aunty Rona.
