A Day of Music and Culture

Part 1. ‘Get Into Reactive Sounds’ will be available to stream online 16:00 - 18:00 - A brand-new documentary series that introduces listeners to a range of new and emerging music genres from across the globe. This is an opportunity to check out the first in the new series which looks at Amapiano, an emerging dance music scene with its origins in South Africa.

An Evening of Music and Culture will take place at The Continental 18:00 - 22:00.

Part 2. Last Days by Kimahxox - Last days is an online installation that suggests we be hopeful in difficult times, encouraging us to live in, and make the most of 'our present'

Part 3. Live music experimentation from Third City - Innovative experimental music live performance

Part 4. 'Algorave' Algorithmic Dance Music demonstration - Pioneers Alex McLean 'Yaxu', Lucy Cheesman 'Heavy Lifting' (Sheffield, UK) and Claude Heiland-Allen aka mathr (London, UK) join us for live-audio coding music performances beamed in for the first time ever in Preston.

Part 5. Music, Dance and Fayaaaa - A music & dance/ sound & vision extravaganza with very special guest artist performances from Dems De La Paix and Yano Mzee
