I go to loads of gigs and club nights . Been on a few of these S2S Nights. Usually loads of PAs and DJs. This time there were some really good (but short) PAs from Livin' Joy, Urban Cookie Collective, N-Trance, Old School DJ set from Stu Allen. S2S Fest is usually at the Guild Hall Preston. Unfortunately that is shut. So it was moved to Evoque. Not keen on this venue for a club night, we did like the Hallowe'en theme decor though. They had gone to town on it. But the venue was too cramped, massive queue at the bars (half an hour wait) over zealous security staff emptying our handbags, (I got searched twice) and it was full of drunken teenagers and some pissed off old Ravers. Not 100% sure we will go back if it's on there again? How about 53 Degrees or is that shut as well? Preston is crap for venues now. S2S did well to find s venue at short notice so every credit to them!
