Children's Musical Theatre Workshop hosted by Players Drama

An exciting children’s musical theatre workshop, hosted by Players Drama School, will take place at Chew’s Yard on Friday 25th October 2024, from 11am – 1pm.

During the inspiring two-hour session, the leading performing arts school will encourage students to delve into the world of West End musicals, honing their performing arts talents whilst enhancing confidence, creativity, and, of course, forming new friendships. The workshop is open to children from school year reception through to school year eight, no experience needed.

Players Drama School has been established at Preston Playhouse for over three decades, nurturing the growth of children and teenagers through acting, singing and dancing.

“We were delighted to welcome our new neighbours, Chews Yard, who have transformed the area into a lively cultural centre, sparking artistic expression and expanding creativity in the community,” said Rebecca Wilson, Director of Players Drama School. "We are excited to have such inspiring neighbours and are eager to explore further collaborations."

The workshop will take place on Friday 25th October from 11am – 1pm.
