Starling Watch on Thursday 22nd November 2018
Your chance to view one of our 'must see' wildlife highlights here at Brockholes!
You will be able to remain on the Visitor Village 'after hours' to view the spectacle of the starling murmuration accompanied by birding experts who will be able to interpret this fascinating behaviour for you. We will be serving a warming homemade soup and roll outside, but still wrap up warm and bring your camera.
Meet at the Welcome Centre on our floating Visitor Village ready for a 3.30pm start. We should be finished by 5.00pm.
Interested children who are aged 11+ and able to listen to a speaker are welcome to attend but must be accompanied by an adult with a ticket.
Tickets include free parking, homemade soup and a roll served outside. The soup will be suitable for vegetarians. Let us know if you have any dietary requirements by emailing email@example.com with your booking reference.
Please come dressed for the weather wearing sturdy footwear. Please note that whilst starling murmurations are pretty reliable at Brockholes, we can't guarantee how they will behave on the night! We may need to walk to other areas of the reserve for the best view.
