Review of Brockholes Bat Walk Night
Me and my partner enjoyed it very much. Brew and biscuits followed by a very interesting, talk and then walk around the reserve with sonar machines, detecting the sounds of different species of bats and seeing them fly so close. Well worth the £6 and a great way to get people interested in our wildlife.
It was excellent. Lorna gave a very informative and interesting talk and managed to keep the children's attention as well.
The walk was great and we will be investing in a detector.
I would be interested in further such events, some geared less towards families, but I do think it's really important to engage youngsters. Is it feasible to offer both?
Really enjoyed it.
Would you recommended: Yes
A superb evening with a very informative presentation and walk experiencing the life of Bats.
