Review of Ensō Sone: QUJAKU & IMPATV
Impatv's uncompromising Industrial sonic textures coalesced into a singular construction of unique beauty. Very inspiring! Qujaku use a familiar rock band format to explore the outer reaches of new musical possibilities. Song structures are extruded into dense slabs of sound that shimmer in the darkness finally exploding in a visceral catharsis. God Speed You Black Emperor, early Sonic Youth and Swans may be their musical peers but Qujaku like Impatv are creating a rich sound which is gloriously original. Domo origato.

Review of Ensō Sone: QUJAKU & IMPATV
The venue was unfortunately freezing cold, but everyone was very friendly and welcoming (and they explained that they had been trying to warm the place up by running heaters all day).
Both acts were excellent, particularly Qujaku - a rare treat for Plymouth.
More please!

Review of Ecstatic Material
Whilst the venue was good and the concept brilliant, the execution didn't work well. There was not enough bass or volume in many of the speakers, consequently not all the materials were ecstatic, particularly the liquid. The opening DJs Copper Sounds were interesting but the audience were crowded into the narrow lobby which led to a number losing interest. Overall could have been better.
