About

Some of the leading lights of Oxford's club scene are coming together to rattle the bassbins and raise money, spirits and show solidarity with our striking public sector workers - among them our nurses, teachers, firefighters, post office and railway workers.

COUNT SKYLARKIN has been at the forefront of Oxford's reggae scene for 23 years and is a veteran of every Cowley Road Carnival there has ever been. Spinning all kinds of Caribbean flavours from dub to dancehall, rocksteady to ska.

GARVIN DAN hails from Trinidad and brings the authentic sound of the We3st Indies to heat up a cold February evening in West Oxford!

EFFI BROOKS Straight UKG shellerz and pure, unadulterated fire from Oxford's first lady of bass.

SANDMAN MC, real name Alex Christie, has been in and around the Oxford underground scene from days of TDK D90s through jungle, garage and dubstep - always hyping up the place and keeping the vibes live.
