Front Row Festival returns for the third time offering even more great music from independent artists across two stages. Organically growing year on year we can offer some of the best new artists from all around the UK as well a family friendly environment where parents can relax while the children take part in the free fun activities all day.
This year sees the expansion of the second stage which will offer you the opportunity to listen to some fantastic artists who have performed on National TV and Radio as well being involved with BBC Introducing. The main stage will see another great line up of bands who have been recognised within the music industry and many have also been promoted through the BBC Introducing network.
The fun family atmosphere offers parents a chance to relax while the children enjoy the craft tent , the circus skills workshops , group game activities or just have fun in the play park all within the secure playing field festival arena.
The success of the real ales and ciders as well as the gin bar means we are expanding the bar area again. This area also turns into the party tent at the end of the night where it has been known for some of the artists to join in with the sing alongs.
Last year we offered camping for tents and it was such a success we had to double the camping area on the day so this year we will be expanding the camping area as well.
All in all Front Row Festival offers everything you would expect from a small family music festival.
We had such great feedback from our audience last year we just had to do it again in 2018
'Totally loved it and can't wait for next year, came.on my own with my daughter, loved she could.play safe in the park whilst I enjoyed the music, looking forward to the next one'
'We had a fantastic day watching all the brilliant bands. A remarkable line up. Looking forward to next year already!'
We look forward to seeing you all on July 7th
Free accessible parking is located at Fritwell Village Hall which is a hard standing level surface.
This car park will be clearly signposted on the day of the festival and is located within 50m of the entrance to the festival area. The route to the festival are is on the opposite site of the road to the car park but is a quiet village road and this crossing is marshalled. The road into the field is solid hard core base with a slight incline and the festival field is a playing field so is a flat grass area.
There are no public transport services to Fritwell at weekends
Accesible toilets are located in the Village Hall and in the Scout Hut which is located to the side of the main stage within the festival area.
Due to the nature of the festival atmosphere the majority of the area is used for seating that the audience brings with them with bench seating around the bar area. The area in front of the raised stage is for standing only.
The field area has a raised grass area around the perimeter where the bar, children’s area and second stage are located and this has plenty of free space to act as a viewing area and as the festival area is not huge a good view of both stages is available anywhere in the field.
If anyone with accessibility issues wishes to bring a personal assistant with them then this ticket will be issued FOC and this can be applied for by mailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
First Aid is provided on site during the festival day.
The camping area is only for tents with no vehicle access. The campsite is located adjacent to the festival area and is approx. 300m from the car park.
The festival area is on the village playing field and they run a no dogs policy except Dogs for Good policy.
However on the day of the festival this restriction is listed to allow well behaved dogs on leads into the festival area.
Any questions about accessibility for the festival should be directed to email@example.com
