Flock to Chipping Norton for an evening of stand-up comedy on Friday 19th October 2018

Flock Comedy is back with another evening of stand-up comedy at the Town Hall in Chipping Norton. Four professional comedians will hit the stage including headliner Troy Hawke a favourite locally. Tickets are £14 and available here with a booking fee or from Jaffé & Neale Bookshop & Café without.

Troy Hawke is an erudite home-schooled 1930's throwback dubbed the Errol Flynn of the High Street. Educated, sophisticated, but utterly clueless. He tackles modern issues head on in his uniquely untimely manner. 'A must see' Daily Mirror 'His act was a comedy masterpiece' The Stratford Telegraph.

For years, Earl Okin performed under the byline 'Musical Genius & Sex Symbol' (the name of his CD). He first learned his stagecraft in folk clubs. When they were replaced by comedy clubs, Earl moved effortlessly to comedy.'The man is unmissable! He's a joy!! He is a classic!! HE IS A MUST!' Russell Hunter.

Stephanie Laing is best described as goofy and peculiar, partway between the needy oddness of Maria Bamford and the upbeat affability of Josie Long. Her material is a mix of silliness, filth and unusual observations, underpinned by a disarming honesty which makes her seem charmingly vulnerable. 'Gloriously silly ... wonderfully unpretentious' BroadwayBaby.com

Opening the evening is Iszy Lawrence is a regular headliner at Festivals and comedy clubs across the land. You might have heard her sultry tones on quite a bit as she's been a regular contributor on BBC Radio Four's Making History and on the breakfast show for BBC Radio Oxford. She hosts four podcasts and has warmed up audiences for Alan Davis and Omid Djalili. 'She could never blend into a crowd, but then given the show she is delivering this year she definitely deserves to stand out anyway.'

Tickets are £14 and available from Jaffé & Neale Bookshop & Café or for a booking fee online by following the link here.
