Babe Punch are a young alternative rock four-piece from Nottingham/Derby consisting of Molly Godber (vocalist), Carys Jones (guitarist), Abbie Roberts (bassist) and Adam Fletcher (drummer). Described as 'youthful, eccentric, electric' (Louder Than War) and having 'furious drums, distorted guitars and infectious choruses' (Indie+Tonic), Babe Punch shaped their distinctive sound around grunge and punk influences such as Hole, PJ Harvey and Drenge, refined by their varied individual tastes ranging from Stevie Nicks and Jefferson Airplane to Led Zeppelin. Known for their 'raucous live show' (Clash Magazine), the band play live regularly, and are especially active in the DIY and punk scenes throughout the country. They have also been part of line-ups including those of Y Not, Dot to Dot, Splendour, Off the Record and Beat The Streets festivals and have played with the likes of The Cribs, Hinds, Vant and Ezra Furman.

Penny Moon are an exciting upcoming female-fronted band from Nottingham. We are delighted to be supporting the new group by releasing their debut single ‘If You’re There (I Won’t Be There)’ out on Phlexx Records on the 20th August 2021.

They’re the best kind of ‘Pop-Rock’ using catchy hooks, haunting vocals and heavy guitar sounds. New to the scene, they have a bucket load of passion and are gearing up for shows towards the end of the year to bring this undeniably catchy single live to the masses.

With long-term support from BBC Introducing, singer-songwriter and producer emzae is evolving with each release as she seeks to mould and perfect her unique style of intricate, homemade pop. Her acclaimed live solo set, which sees her triggering samples and playing various instruments, has wowed audiences across the UK, earning her invites to play festival stages and support slots for the likes of LoneLady, Lucy Deakin and Billy Lockett. Her music has been featured on multiple Spotify and Apple Music playlists including New Pop: UK and A-list Pop, and received extensive airplay across BBC radio networks. Most recently, emzae appeared on a panel at Wide Days Festival to champion accessibility at gigs, and featured in an audio documentary called Women Make Music, in which an interview and a specially commissioned track were broadcast during Huw Stephens’ show on BBC 6music.
