St Barnabas Cathedral 175th Birthday on Saturday 21st September 2019
St Barnabas Cathedral was completed 175 years ago - join us to celebrate!
All are welcome to join us for a free, interactive family open day. Cathedral volunteer stewards will be on hand to answer questions and there is chance to meet researchers from Nottingham Trent University and find out more about their latest findings about the original decoration of the Cathedral designed by renowned Victorian architect Augustus Pugin.
For families there is a special activity trail to discover more about the Cathedral. In Cathedral Hall will be Pugin-inspired crafts and activities including helping to create a model of the Cathedral and design your own monogram - activities will be suitable for all ages and abilities!
Refreshments will be available.
