Review of Northampton Town Festival
We love taking part with events, when on holiday but spent £50 + booking fee on one child £10 for the monster truck, would have been great to have photos included to be downloaded. Contactless didn't work most of the time. Grandson was targeted to be bullied and if he hadn't been with an adult could have been worse. He did enjoy himself regardless of the burn mark on his neck from the dodgems belt!

Review of Northampton Town Festival
due to weather we were not able to see any ballons on the saturday
there was not enough stalls promoting local items and only one small tented area with several crafts in of similar items and crafts . appart from a large fair and one display arena there was not enough to keep a family like ours occupied for long enough.
on a positive note the security and toilet facilities where well organised and kept
the weather did not help our visit but there was no where near enough under cover areas when it did rain.

Review of Northampton Town Festival
There was only fair ground and fast food stalls. the town show used to have something for everyone. there used to be lots of stalls to buy things, craft tent, food tents and various different organisations showing. But this year a small tent with approx 8 stalls. The bands at the Town show used to be excellent we have had bad manners, etc etc, what was on for 2022?........ some poor guy on his lonesome attempting to sing oasis hits, a singular chap on stage singing madness tunes and a Jam tribute. No atmosphere what so ever, I did feel sorry for the guys on stage but it truly was poor. Following this was the balloon glow that consisted of eight or so burners being let off to music and then fireworks? It was £3.00 per person to get in, to basically walk round an overpriced funfair. it's such a shame as we used to look forward to this every year but I honestly don't know where the money has gone for this event. The council have really let the town down and if this is truly the best anyone can come up with then maybe the money raised from the event would be better spent on a new events team for the council.
