Review of Northampton Balloon Festival

Great event especially when even a few balloons went up which I know isnât always guaranteed! Very exciting and nostalgic! I used to go as a youngster and the first time I took my own children! They also enjoyed the fair! Only downsideâ¦ prices of fair were mind blowingly expensive! Two kids Â£10 for hook a frog! ð« they only went on a couple of things because if this! 
Apart from that a fantastic event! 

It was good to see this back after 14 years of it being away from Northampton was good price to get in and parking but prices of food and drinks were high and I liked the craft tent but should of had more. 
Plus it should of been bigger years ago it took up the whole of the park 


Prices were high as compared to other events we been to. Also there were no Halal or vegetarian option for food. When asked an organiser/helper , his comments were âno fake foodâ which seems inter racial intolerance. 

A good day out with the kids, but traffic was really bad because a road to it was closed 

The parking and entry price were very steep for what was actually available. Next time more planning should be done for parking. There should be more on offer such as workshops from local artists and musicians etc, some live music and a better variety of stalls.

Wouldn’t go again and certainly wouldn’t recommend. Entry price was fine but rides and food were a complete rip off.

Well what can I say that hasn't  been said it was a shambles we live 20mins away yet sat in traffic around the race course for almost 3 hours as all roads were closed off so was directed all round back streets we also had brought tickets online. But we had enough with 2 boys stuck in the back of the car weturned round and just went home the council /organisers should be ashamed we not bother next if there is even a next time if I could it would get zero stars from me and my family

The event was great, unfortunately we didnât get to see the balloons we had never been before and at 6 it was too windy for the balloons to fly so postponed till 9 we had grandchildren with us and they were tired as we arrived at about 1 oâclock they had been running around watching other entertainment so we left at 7 but will return another year but we will not come until about 4 oâclock. All other entertainment was great grandson loved the stunt motorbikes.

I think the things in the balloon festival were very expensive and it would have been a lot better if there was a lot more stalls apart from that was good kids enjoyed! Definitely great venue choice

Little expensive on the fair and food 
Balloons could not go up but that's ok please don't take that bad   We had a great time 1st time going and will go again sat nab took us wrong entrance
