Me and my family had a lovely time. Very well run. Good work all! (the music rating is because I didn't really notice it much but didn't mind that and don't think it's important)

Review of Boughton Bonfire & Firework Display

should be flood lights it was pitch black and was waiting too long from the last entry to when they started in darkness and too cramped

The first thing you were greeted with was the food stalls and all were excellent quality and then walked to the main field where there was one stall selling glow wands. Then waited about an hour stood in a field with no music or attractions then they lit the bonfire. Stood watching that which felt like another hour and we were all facing the fire so thought the fireworks would be in the same directing. The fireworks were set off in the opposite directions behind the hill and massive trees so couldn't see most of the event

We've attended this event for a number of years now - loving the fact that it finishes early (6pm). We were a bit disappointed therefore that the finish was significantly later this year. And the wait for the bonfire to be lit was infuriating and seemingly without reason.
It's still a good event, with a great fire and fireworks display, but next year we'll look around for alternatives as our main reason for booking here has gone.

Not a lot going on but good food on offer, especially the jerk chicken with rice and peas! Nice not to  have blasting your ears off music. Good bonfire and firework display. More intimate than larger venues, although it attracted a good crowd. In all a pleasant evening. Will go again next year.

Great firework display at a very affordable price (added a rating for music to allow me to post the review, however these wasn't any)
